Baltic Sea Anomaly A Swedish diving team called Ocean X Team was scanning the Baltic Sea area just north of Aland looking for sunken ships when they made an amazing discovery on the seabed about 80 meters (262 ft) in depth. That depth cannot be inspected by routine diving and funding had to be developed in order to get the equipment necessary to make any type of onsite investigation. Cell phones would not work while immediately over the object but would start working as soon as they moved about 40 meters away from the object.
